| Prayer is an important part of St. Luke's ministry. God is good to us. We are blessed over and over again everyday. We are given each new day to share with friends and family. Gifts and talents to earn a living or spend a pleasant afternoon, food to strengthen us to do His service, and shelter and protect us from the beautiful starry sky above. Beyond these bountiful blessings, He has shown us grace and mercy far beyond our deserving through Jesus' death and resurrection. Have you thanked Him today? We are privileged to have the opportunity to talk to the Lord and receive His answer through prayer. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
