CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
St. Luke's has a wide range of educational opportunities for people of all ages.
We hope you will take advantage of one or all of the classes.

Is there something you would like to learn more about but it is not covered by the
curriculum below?  Please contact our Learning Chair, Laurie Weitendorf or Pastor Bob.
EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN
Sunday School - During the 10:00 service.  Every Sunday morning from September to May the children will
be invited up to the alter for a Children's Sermon.  After their time with Pastor its time to learn!  Children
age 3 through 6th Grade are divided into 2 classrooms.  An age appropriate Bible lesson is discussed with
the class and typically some type of project is done to reinforce the message.

First Communion Class - At least once a year Pastor Bob teaches our children and their parents about what
they need to know about taking communion.  Watch the bulletins for dates and times.

EDUCATION FOR PRE-TEENS AND TEENS
Confirmation Class -January - April.  Children in 7th and 8th grade will attend the classes to gain
understanding of the Lutheran Faith and prepare them for becoming a confirmed member of the church.

EDUCATION FOR ADULTS
Adult Sunday School - Held most Sunday mornings at 9:00am and Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.  Pastor
Bob or other members  lead  an  in depth discussion on  the Bible.  Bring your Bible  - the different
translations really add to your understanding.  Please check with the church office for specific times.
